Nufashwa Yafasha Foundation Nufashwa Yafasha Foundation (NYF) is a Kinyarwanda
word and translates into ‘someone supported may still support others’.
NYF was established
in 2014 to contribute to creating a ‘well-educated community of hope’ by
tackling associated problems of children struggling to complete primary and
secondary education for many reasons.

Mission:
Our mission is to contribute to (i) the removal of socio-economic barriers
impeding children from financially weak and vulnerable rural Rwandan families
to attend school, (ii) a reduction in school dropout rates, and (iii) the
provision of leisure facilities and activities for students and local schools.
Vision: Create reasonable career prospects for financially
weak and vulnerable rural Rwandan families and strengthen community solidarity
through the provision of quality education, material support, and awareness
campaigns.
Primary
Objectives
1. Reduce drop-out rates in local primary and
secondary schools;
2. Support local families with basic needs,
including school materials;
3. Improve leisure facilities in the community;
4. Conduct leisure activities in the community;
5. Support
outstanding students in attending tertiary education.

NYF would not be able to function without the help of
volunteers. Volunteers are an essential part of our organization and provide a
wide range of help, from working in our charity shop, helping run events, to volunteer direct at our community center.
We can send you a promotional pack so that you can tell all your friends and family about our work. The pack will include:

By promoting Nufashwa Yafasha with your friends,

there could be children and their families’ wellbeing in Africa/Rwanda because
of you. There could be five children going to school because of you.
